01
Our commitment
Bianca Katharina Barth aims to make this website easy to use for as many people as possible, regardless of their device, vision or preferred method of interaction. Its technical and editorial development voluntarily follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance level AA.
This is not a claim of complete or officially verified conformance. A comprehensive manual audit by an independent specialist body has not yet been completed. An accessibility-tools button complements accessible programming but does not replace it.
02
Measures already implemented
- semantic headings, sections and navigation structures,
- a skip link directly to the main content,
- visible keyboard focus indicators and dialogs that can be closed with Escape,
- responsive display for mobile phones, tablets, zoom and narrow viewports,
- alternative text for images that convey content,
- before-and-after sliders operable by mouse, touch and keyboard,
- clearly labelled input fields and understandable status messages,
- support for the system ‘Reduce motion’ setting, and
- no automatically playing audio or video content.
03
Accessibility tools on every device
The ‘Accessibility tools’ button at the bottom left enables larger text, higher contrast, visible link underlining, increased text spacing and reduced animation. The selected display is stored only locally on the device being used and can be reset at any time.
The feature is fully accessible by keyboard. The settings window can be closed using the Escape key. If reduced motion is enabled in the operating system, the website is automatically shown without the intro, scroll animations, scanning effects or sparkle trail.
04
Known limitations
The website intentionally uses large images, architectural drawings, animations and interactive image comparisons. The essential information is also available as text; nevertheless, individual visual details cannot always be conveyed fully in a short description. Display in external email applications is also beyond our control.
Contrast, zoom, keyboard navigation, screen-reader output and mobile reflow views will continue to be reviewed regularly as the website develops. Identified barriers will be prioritised for remediation wherever possible.
05
Report a barrier or difficulty
If you encounter a barrier, cannot access content or require a description in a different format, please email kontakt@barth-immobilien-rheingau.de. It is helpful to include the page concerned, the device or assistive technology used and a brief description of the problem. We will respond as promptly as possible.
The statutory requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz) depend, among other things, on the nature and scale of the business and the service offered. Regardless of any formal obligation, the accessibility of this website will be improved progressively.
